A secured loan agreement allows you to borrow against an eligible asset that you provide as security. Your asset is securely held for the duration of the loan agreement. Once the amount due under the agreement has been repaid, your asset is returned to you. If you do not repay the amount due within the applicable period, your asset may be sold in accordance with the agreement and applicable law.
We work with individuals and businesses who hold eligible assets and require access to capital. Each enquiry is considered individually, subject to the asset, the proposed borrowing and our lending criteria.
We lend against eligible assets including prestige and classic motor vehicles, watches, fine art, jewellery and gemstones, gold bullion and other assets with an established secondary market. All assets are subject to eligibility and individual assessment.
No. Our lending is secured against eligible physical assets provided as security, rather than property.
Assets are individually assessed based on factors such as condition, provenance, authenticity, marketability and current market value. For vehicles, an initial valuation can be completed virtually. For other assets, we may arrange a valuation with an appropriate specialist.
Loans of up to 75% of the assessed value of an eligible asset may be available. The final amount offered depends on the individual asset, its characteristics and our lending criteria. Our loans typically range from £5,000 to £2 million, subject to the asset and individual circumstances.
The interest rate and any applicable charges will depend on the loan agreement and will be explained before you proceed. Your agreement will set out the applicable interest, charges, total amount payable and other relevant terms.
You can make an enquiry by completing our online form, and a member of our team will be in touch shortly. You can also call us on 0333 577 3000 to speak with a member of our team. Following an initial assessment, we can often provide an indicative view of the potential funding available and applicable costs. There is no obligation to proceed.
We assess your asset and funding requirement and provide an initial indication where possible. If you wish to proceed, the asset undergoes the required valuation and checks. The final loan amount and terms are then confirmed, contractual documentation is issued and the asset is securely received and stored before funds are transferred.
Timing depends on the asset and the requirements of the loan agreement. We often make decisions the same day. Once the valuation and required checks are complete, the agreement is signed and the asset has been securely received and stored, funds are typically transferred to your nominated account within one hour.
All contractual documentation is issued electronically, allowing you to review the full terms and sign securely online.
If your loan agreement provides a right to withdraw, you can do so in accordance with the terms of your agreement. Any interest due for the period the loan was outstanding will remain payable. Your agreement will explain how and when you can exercise your withdrawal rights.

No. We do not carry out a credit reference agency search for these loan agreements. We still carry out appropriate identity, anti-money-laundering, ownership, provenance and other required checks.

Yes. You retain ownership of your asset during the loan agreement. The asset is held as security and securely stored for the duration of the agreement. Once the amount due has been repaid, the asset is returned to you.
Where the asset is physically held as security, it will remain securely stored for the duration of the loan agreement and will not be available for use or display during that period. It will be returned once the amount due under the agreement has been repaid.
The loan amount is based on the assessment of the asset at the time the agreement is entered into. A change in market value does not automatically change the agreed loan amount. Any renewal, extension or new lending would be subject to the terms of the existing agreement and any required reassessment.
Our standard loan agreement term is six months. If you wish to continue borrowing when your agreement ends, a new six-month loan agreement may be available, subject to a fresh assessment and approval.
Yes. Early settlement is available without an early repayment penalty or exit fee, subject to 28 days' notice or, where applicable under the agreement, payment of interest in lieu of the notice period. The settlement amount and any applicable interest or charges will be confirmed when you request early settlement.
Yes. Partial repayments can be made during the loan agreement. The effect of any partial repayment on the outstanding balance and applicable interest or charges will depend on the terms of your agreement.
You can repay the amount due under your loan agreement within the applicable period, after which you will receive your asset back. If you wish to continue borrowing, a new six-month loan agreement may be available, subject to a fresh assessment and approval. All interest and applicable charges due under the existing agreement must be paid before a new agreement can be signed. If you are experiencing financial difficulty and cannot repay, please enquire before the agreement ends. If forbearance is appropriate, we may consider extending the existing agreement.
