Valuation & Payout
A Simple 3 Step Process...
1
Appraisal &
Valuation
Submitting a valuation request, complete with photography
Real-time appraisal on WhatsApp - no home visit required
Takes 10 minutes maximum
Receive an offer in principle typically the same day – subject to a physical check and final valuation.
2
Physical
Inspection
Deliver your fine jewellery or gems to one or our designated valuer vault to enable the recorded physical inspection.
If preferable, allow us to collect it from you with our complementary UPS fully insured courier service.
Is your fine jewellery or gems or collection already in professional storage? For your peace of mind, it can be left in situ for the duration of your loan.
3
Valuation &
Payout
Within 24 hours of our physical inspection, we will confirm one of three possibilities:
- Our valuation is as agreed, and your loan will be paid immediately.
- We will issue a revised offer for your approval.
- (Where we are unable to lend) we will be returning your jewellery to you.
Maker & Age
The creator, craftsmanship and age of a piece naturally all have a significant impact on a valuation.
Material
The price of the diamond(s) and precious metals.
Condition
Including dents, blemishes, scratches, and any overt repairs, if applicable.
Certification
From reputable independent organisations such as AnchorCert Gem Lab, and the Gemological Institute of America. If certificates are unavailable, we grade fine gems ourselves by combining Rapaport Price List results with our own careful research.
