Asset

Gold Bullion

Loan amount

£120,000

Key points

Investment opportunity requiring additional capital
Utilising gold bullion already owned by the client
Funding accessed while still owning the asset

Background

Client C identified an investment opportunity requiring access to additional capital within a relatively short timeframe. They held gold bullion of significant value and wanted to use the asset to access funding rather than sell it outright.

Solution

Following assessment of the bullion and completion of the required checks, a £120,000 Asset-Backed Lending facility was provided against the eligible asset. The gold was securely held for the duration of the agreement.

Outcome

Client C accessed capital against gold they already owned, allowing them to pursue an investment opportunity without selling the bullion.
